Welcome to Shesh Besh (gammonroyale.com). The site is operated by its developers, Dor and Eli (in these terms: "we"). Anyone who uses the site agrees to these terms. We tried to write them short and clear.
1. The service
Shesh Besh is a free game: against a friend online, against the computer or two people on one screen, with tools for analysis and learning. There's no sign-up and no payment. We may change features, add or remove them, and also shut down the site; before a significant change we'll try to announce it on the site.
Against the computer you play a program. A computer opponent is always marked as one, and we never present a computer as a person.
2. Game coins, no money
The site has game coins. They are used only to play on the site.
- Coins are given to you under a personal, limited and revocable licence. They are not your property, not money, not electronic money and not a means of payment, and they have no monetary value.
- They can't be redeemed for money, vouchers, goods or anything of value, and the site has no prizes of value. Selling, buying, transferring or giving coins or accounts, on the site or outside it, is not allowed. Any such attempt is void.
- You earn coins by playing, and free coins are always available: a starting gift, a bonus every 4 hours and a wheel spin once a day. You never need to buy anything to play.
- In games for coins the house takes a fixed fee of 10%, in coins only. The fee is shown before every game. A gammon multiplies the win and the loss by 2, and a backgammon (Turkish mars) by 3.
- We may correct a balance created by a fault, cheating, exploiting a bug or accounts opened to move coins, and void the result of the game where it happened.
- When the coin system moves to our server, balances will start again from the same amount for everyone. We will announce it on the site in advance. Levels and crowns are kept.
3. Entertainment only
The site is a social game for entertainment. It is not gambling, not a lottery and not a game for money. Backgammon combines skill and luck. Success on the site does not imply success at real-money gambling.
Betting real money or anything of value on a game on the site is not allowed, even when the players agree to it, and even when the bet is made outside the site.
4. Age
The site suits all ages. Playing for coins, the tables and the wheel of fortune are for ages 18 and over only. Before the first time we ask you to confirm your age, and we may block coins on a minor's account.
5. Fair play
Not allowed:
- Getting help during a game against a person from backgammon software, a bot, an AI tool, tables or another person, breaks included.
- Holding more than one account, or opening a new account to get around a block.
- Losing on purpose, arranging a result with another player, or playing in any way meant to move coins to another player.
- Exploiting a bug. If you find one, please tell us.
- Selling, sharing or transferring an account, or using someone else's account.
- Changing the site's code or the game data, influencing the dice, or hiding your location (for example with a VPN) to get around a block.
- Harming the site or the players: attacking the site, deliberately overloading it, guessing or scanning room codes, or collecting data automatically.
6. What happens when someone breaks the rules
We check games with statistical tools and look into every serious suspicion ourselves. The checking methods are not published.
Depending on how serious it is, we may: warn, void a game's result, restore coins to how they were before the game, cancel coins gained by breaking the rules, restrict playing for coins, and suspend or close an account. Coins you lost to a player found cheating will be given back to you.

7. The dice
Every roll comes from a secure random number generator. No code knows who is playing, who is winning, who put coins down or who bought anything, and no code changes the dice. In games for coins the dice will be locked in advance on the server, and every roll can be checked after the game.
Truly random dice include unusual streaks too. Think something is wrong? Send us the room code and the time, and we will check. Don't accuse another player in public; report it to us.

8. Responsible play
The game should be fun. You can play with no coins at all: "Play without coins" in Settings. You can also ask us to block playing for coins for you, for a period or for good, and we may set limits on amounts.
9. Names and behavior
The name you choose will be shown to your opponent and to anyone who enters the room. Choosing an offensive, racist, sexual or threatening name is forbidden, and so is impersonating another person. We recommend choosing a nickname rather than a full name. We may delete a room or a name that breaks the rules.
10. Rooms and watching
Anyone who has the room code or the link can enter the room and watch the game; spectators can't play. The room code is not a password — share it only with people you want to. What's stored and for how long: Privacy policy.
11. Rights
The design, code, engine and content on the site belong to us. Third-party components are listed on the About page and belong to their owners, under their licenses. You may play, share links and take screenshots.
12. Liability
- The site is provided free of charge, "as is" (AS IS). We do our best to make it work well, but we don't guarantee that it will always be available, that it will be free of faults, or that a game won't disconnect or be deleted.
- The analysis, hints, coach and odds meter are the computer's estimates, and they may be wrong.
- To the extent the law allows, we will not be liable for damage caused by using the site or by being unable to use it. Nothing in this section exempts us from liability for damage we caused intentionally or through gross negligence.
13. Countries
Don't use the site where such a game is not allowed. We may block playing for coins in certain countries.
14. Closing an account
You can stop using the site and ask us to delete your data at any time. When an account is closed, its coins are deleted with no compensation.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of the page, and announce any material change on the site 14 days in advance. Anyone who keeps using the site after a change takes effect agrees to the new terms.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by Israeli law, and jurisdiction lies with the competent courts in Israel. If any part of the terms does not apply, the rest of the terms will remain in force.
